The music of Beethoven, Chopin, and Bach is interwoven with a remarkable new monologue about Sylvia, a woman suffocated by the desire to be extraordinary. One Sixteenth is a funny, touching play about the genesis of genius, a life of unrealized ambition, and an overwhelming unrequited love. This new play takes a novel approach to combining classical piano and theatrical performance. The music is a second character, an integral part of the storytelling that actively moves the narrative forward and illuminates the emotional life of Sylvia, the storyteller. This world premiere of One Sixteenth features actor Rachel Schwartz and pianist Adam Marks, and is directed by Kareem Fahmy.

Love Dr. Mueller is adapted from her writings, this is the true story of the amazing life and early death of Cookie Mueller, a pioneering actress, writer, and counter-culture icon of the 1970s and 1980s.
