R.P. McMurphy is a boisterous, brawling, fun-loving rebel who rallies the
other patients at a mental institution around him by challenging the
dictatorship of Nurse Ratched, openly defying her rules at every turn. Soon
a grim struggle develops for the minds and hearts of the men between the two
relentless opponents: Nurse Ratched, backed by the full power of authority,
and McMurphy, who has only his own indomitable will.
