Okay, a solo play written and performed by Taylor Mac Bowyer, documents the lives of seven teenage seniors attending the high school prom. Bowyer embodies a pregnant prom queen laureate, her bubble gum feminist theory- drenched best friend, two coke-snorting outsiders, their drunken stalker, a teenage tongue cancer victim and his Foucult-spouting boyfriend.

The women's restroom, where the entire play takes place, becomes the retreat from the "hellacious evening of pinkness." There, the teenagers' adult issues reach a crisis point. They struggle to find optimism in the face of their world knowledge. As America changes its course, adopting preemptive strikes and restricted civil rights, the characters come of age--creating a new innocence, almost as quickly as they're set on losing it.
