Nine Months of Sundays chronicles the story of Gretta and Nicholas, a young couple whose time together is thwarted by Nicholas' secrets. Gretta, heartbreakingly, tries to reach out to Nick as he continues his "work" in the back room of his apartment, refusing to let Gretta inside. As the Sundays wear on, Gretta becomes increasingly alienated and curious, until she finally breaches their trust and sneaks into the back room. We discover along side her the startling reality of what happens behind closed doors. Forced to confront a reality she never expected, Gretta tries to reconcile what she discovers there, as we question truths about love, life, and innocence.
