Oslo Elsewhere, The Unbound Theatre, and Spring Theatreworks
present the U.S. premiere of Night Sings Its Songs.

Caught in a cycle of love, loss, and intense need, a young couple spiral out
of a difficult relationship and into a nightmare. A rushed and awkward visit from the Young Man's parents spurs the Young Woman to go out for the evening, leaving the Young Man paralyzed by his need for her love. A routine questioning upon her return reveals a challenge neither one of them is prepared to confront. Filled with rhythm, poetry, and sparse language, this play lives in limbo between reality and a world of symbolism.

Jon Fosse is Norway's pre-eminent contemporary playwright - the single most significant literary voice to come out of Norway since Ibsen. His plays and books have been translated into over 30 languages and professionally produced on more than 240 stages in 36 countries, on four continents --
according to many, he is "the most produced dramatist in Europe today." The
U.S. premiere of Night Sings Its Songs in New York City marks Fosse's U.S. debut production.
