WHAT IS IT ABOUT?
The sixth annual New Georges' Perform-a-Thon is an all-day (noon-11pm) performance marathon consisting of 30 to 35 short plays written, directed, and performed by New Georges' affiliates. Each "set" of plays begins on the hour and lasts 40 minutes, followed by a 20 minute break for food and drink. A $10.00 minimum donation is requested, and all money raised helps to support "The Room," a development and workshop space for New Georges' affiliated women theatre artists.
