WHAT IS IT ABOUT?

St. Clement's Episcopal Church, launches its First Mondays series of play readings with, THE NEW ADVENTURES OF GLORIA MONDAY. This philosophical comedy by John Martin concerns; life, values, immortality and the end of the world. Armageddon is approaching, earthquakes are occurring, blue comets are on the horizon, and the world is in flux. Alan Ringenplatz, the world's least known basement scientist, with his lovely wife Mona is frantically attempting to find a way to prolong the aging process and remain young. Their neighbors, Phil and Madge Dolce Nada are intellectuals. She meditates and he is the well-known author of the Nothingness Trilogy. Thrown into the mix is Gloria Monday, a beauty queenesque visitor who has made a pact with the devil.
Each reading will take place on the first Monday of each month, except for July and August
