TheDrillingCompany presents Mutant Sex Party by Canadian Edward Manning. Manning is best known to New York audiences for Gemini which was also shown at the 78th Street Theatre Lab and HERE. Manning is the recipient of Canada's coveted Gemini Award (no relationship to the play) for his skewering comedy on several Canadian television shows. Other commissions for past DrillingCompany projects include Erratica, Hot Meat, and Escape Artist. The play concerns a successful politician's relationship with a young male prostitute. Artistic Director Hamilton Clancy, who is also directing the play, described it : "It's a fascinating power struggle between two different kinds of prostitutes.
