The Medicine Show Theatre presents Mr. Shakespeare & Mr. Porter, a shotgun marriage between the art of William Shakespeare and Cole Porter. This musical comedy integrates four of Shakespeare's greatest hits: King Lear, Hamlet, Macbeth, and A Midsummer Night's Dream. The songs are Porter's (many of them unpublished), while the spoken words are taken from Shakespeare's plays. Barbara Vann directs, with Sterling Price McKinney as musical director.
