Based on Aesop's fable The Wolf in Sheep's Clothing, Mr. Irresistible uses video music, theater and dance to tell the story of a lonely woman who purchases a robotic lover in the hopes of finding happiness and validation in the world; until she learns that her new "boyfriend" was built to make her wildest fantasies and, unbeknownst to her, worst nightmares come true.
Described as The Terminator meets Working Girl, Mr. Irresistible is comical and vibrant, while weaving together our desires and fears of interacting with technology. Set in the near-future, Mr. Irresistible harkens back to the late 1950's/early 1960's utopian ideas of automated progress while simultaneously incorporating the 1980's nihilistic views of the coming age.
