Movers! is an evening of ten short works, including five world premieres. These short works include short dance, dance theatre, and movement theatre by emerging artists and rising stars. The goal of this concert series is to create performance opportunities for emerging artists at prestigious venues around the city, and in the process turn on theatre audiences to modern dance and awaken dance lovers to choreographic talents at work in the theatre. The ten short works include "Life in Breath" by Alexandra Beller, "Untitled" by Ezra Caldwell, "Peeps, a modern tragedy" by Delicious Biscuit, "Akiko Furukawa," "Chrysalide" by Jean-Hugues Miredin, "Backooh" by Sia & Hamilton, "A Few Moments with Louise" by Lake Simons, "Introduction" by Nadia Tarr, "AWAKESWELL" by Colleen Thomas, and "The Hasegawa Quartet" by Kevin Wynn/The Next Stage Project.
