Monroe Bound follows the lives of Lexington Monroe, a 20 something girl living in New York's "formerly gritty" East Village in 2004 and her father Alvin, who resides in a small Georgia town. Lexington and Alvin both have a tendency towards looking for love in all the wrong places and Lexington soon finds herself smitten with Pace, a charismatic but secretive female photographer, while Alvin attempts to come to terms with failed affairs from his past. And Alvin and Lexington both have secrets--and secrets destroy! Just like the rest of us, they're trying to figure out their place in the world, in this quirky tale that spans from Georgia to New York, from Communist microbrew to The Princess of Power, and from staying stuck in the past to moving right along.
