WHAT IS IT ABOUT?
Moctezuma features very elaborate costumes and dance routines, typical of the Nahuatl Indians (Aztecs). The story of Moctezuma has received little attention and this play is a comprehensive and very dramatic depiction of that story, a clash of two civilizations that have much more in common then they realize.
