WHAT IS IT ABOUT?

BurgerBoy Productions presents Minimum Wage: Blue Code Ringo as part of the Alumni Showcase series at the 10th annual New York International Fringe Festival.

The show is a hilarious, witty, slightly subversive and delightfully goony musical revue in which employees of a Big Brother-type fast food chain must initiate the audience into the wonders of hamburgerology. Learn the art of spatulary, discuss the finer points of Post-Mustardism, avoid the pitfalls of bathroom duty and review drive-thru etiquette. Be on your way to Employee of the Month in this acappella musical revue, a sort of "Fast Food Nation" as if it were performed by the Marx Brothers and Bobby McFerrin.

Sunday, August 13 @2pm
Wednesday, August 16 @ 8:45 pm

What the critics say:

"One of the weirdest, most entertaining displays of deliberately goony fun we've seen all year-the high spirits prove infectious, especially in the uplifting finale! Best Musical Comedy" -- Time OutNY

" A rip-roaring musical experience! Smart, witty and highly original!"-- NYTheater.com

"This brilliant cast of five presents a technically superb show that gets the audience to laugh and cringe at the machine that is the fast food industry. Fantastic!" - Montreal Gazette

"Minimum Wage giddily showcased its mad singing skills and high scholastic aptitude in the vocal percussion/beatboxing arena. Extremely funny-Sometimes in a so-goofy-it's-funny kind of way, other times pure genius." - Dallas Star Telegram
