WHAT IS IT ABOUT?
Tang Shu-wing is one of Hong Kong's premier theater directors. His provocative show Millennium Autopsy is an acute dissection of contemporary humanity. It chronicles a doctor's attempt to reconnect with his dead wife and his grandfather--a puppet master and victim of the Cultural Revolution--through genetic engineering. This fascinating multimedia presentation combienes text, movement, video, and shadow techniques in a mysterious and fascinating journey of the senses. Part of the Henson International Festival of Puppet Theater.
