Mercedes Ellington and Chris Callaway host Lyrics & Lyricists: Rhythm Is Our Business, an overview of the world of black theater of the 1920s and 30s. The evening includes songs by Fats Waller, Eubie Blake, Noble Sissle, James P. Johnson, Spencer Savoy, and Clarence Williams. Featured in the cast are Deborah Tranelli, LaTanya Hall, Carol Woods, Lawrence Hamilton, and Wayne Pretlow.
