WHAT IS IT ABOUT?
Ethyl Eichelberger Award recipient and Tony nominated performer Justin Bond stars in Lustre, a Midwinter Trans-Fest. Bond and friends serves up a heady mix of "Glamour, Gender Queer Cabaret, and Sexy Provocation."
The cast includes Our Lady J, Glenn Marla, Nathan Carrera ...and The Pixie Harlots, plus special guests. Jonnah Speidel provides musical direction.
Following the Thursday, March 6 performance, there will be a post-show celebration during which the winner of the 2008 Ethyl Eichelberger Award will be announced.

In his cabaret-style revue at P.S. 122, Lustre, a Midwinter Trans-Fest, Justin Bond somehow manages to be both edgy and ingratiating at the same time. He tells several raunchy stories, sings some rather obscene lyrics, and invites onto the stage with him numerous performers who bare flesh and perform routines that are not for the easily offended. And yet, Bond is always congenial and charming, the perfect hostess for an evening of decidedly queer entertainment.
