HERE Arts Center and Ethyl Crisp Productions present Taylor Mac's Live Patriot Acts2: Alien Nation, an immigration odyssey and fundraiser for Ethyl Crisp Productions.

This evening of politically charged performance is staged as an over-the-top tailgate party. Curated and hosted by Taylor Mac, it features performances by: Taylor Mac, The Dazzle Dancers, Scotty the Blue Bunny, Tigger, Glenn Marla, The World Famous *Bob* (and the Bush Twins), Bradford Scobie, Bridget Everett, Laryssa Husiak, Stacey Karpen, an Alien Fashion show by Machine, alien makeup by Derrick Little, and more.

In August of 2004, during the NYC Republican Convention, Taylor Mac created an evening of performance, which commingled downtown subversives with spring break Americana. The result was Live Patriot Acts: Patriots Gone Wild!!! This festive, sold-out, evening of politically charged performance was staged as an over-the-top tailgate party and included performances from some of downtowns most gifted subversives. Now Mr. Mac brings the culture crew back for the sequel: Live Patriot Acts2: Alien Nation! Each artist has been asked to create an original performance piece inspired by the final frontier and the US policies on immigration. Expect music, dance, fashion, visual art, burlesque, sketch comedy, performance art, puppetry, and even a punter alien makeup booth by Martha Stewart Show makeup artist Derrick Little. This one-time-only event is a fundraiser for the Here Arts Center and Ethyl Crisp Productions' premiere of Taylor Mac's The Young Ladies Of running at HERE from September 26th-October 19th.
