WHAT IS IT ABOUT?

Majestic Theatreworks presents LIE, CHEAT, STEAL: Three Short Plays by Dan Aibel, directed by David Dalton. A drama about brotherhood, deception and juggling, THE THIRD RULE, was presented at The Bug Theatre's fifth annual New Play Festival in July. Misdirection is attempted--and discovered--as brothers Blake (a cop) and Matty (a struggling magician) rehash past events on the eve of Blake's first undercover assignment. GOING OUT, a comedy first seen at The Red Room in the fall of 2001, sets its sights on the relationship between a pair of post-college men. Out for a night on the town, the conversation inevitably turns to the one nagging issue that comes between them. As two salesmen make their pitch in THE MONEY, a satire, the skeptical businessman on the receiving end soon realizes that the investment scheme being offered has more than a few novel quirks.
