In honor of Black History Month, La MaMa E.T.C will present LADY/SPEAK/EASY, a new jazz play written and directed by Sean Power. The play depicts a day in the life of Billie Holiday, the blues singer extraordinaire who was one of the most influential African American cultural icons of the 20th Century.-dlm
