Kristin McArdle Dance presents The Aqua Project, dances inspired by the ocean world and our relationship to it. Dances include Aqua, illuminating how visual light changes from the shore to the bottom of the ocean, Barco Negro, performed to Portuguese Fado music and the world premiere of Ghostfishing, revealing how we fish and what we eat. The evening combines art with marine education, ending with a brief introduction about the sustainable harvest seafood and how our consumer choices directly influence the fate of ocean animals.
