Karen Mason, who is currently starring as Velma Von Tussle in the Tony Award-winning smash hit Hairspray, celebrates the release of her new CD Right Here/Right Now with a special performance at Manhattan's premier jazz club Birdland.
The nine-time MAC Award winning Mason's sixth CD is a showcase for her dynamic vocals and musical versatility. Praised as "an impeccably recorded collection" by the Toronto Star's Richard Ouzounian, the recording is garnering the singer major acclaim.
