WHAT IS IT ABOUT?
MC Cain and MC Abel retell the old testament's story of Job in the allegory of contemporary corporate life. President of hip-hop label Hoover Records J. Hoover and V.P. Finance Lou Saphire decide to test the loyalty of their subordinate Job Lowe by revoking all of his work benefits, then removing his job altogether. As Job grapples with his loss, narrators Cain and Abel have beef of their own to sort out, namely the eternal question: Why do bad things happen to good people, yo? Jerome Sibil and Eli Batalion star in Job--The Hip-Hop Musical.
There is an added performance on Sunday, March 30 at 3:00pm. There are no performances April 4-6, 21-23, or 28-30.
