WHAT IS IT ABOUT?
Isadora Duncan's Iphigenia (1905) is the earliest modern dance masterpiece still in existence. Revived and staged in the original solo form by Duncan dance master, Julia Levien, and performed by noted Duncan dancer, Jodi Liss, these dances of extraordinary beauty reveal Duncan's remarkable technical creativity, her artistic daring and vision, and her profound ability to find emotional truth in physical form. With guest artist Jody Sperling performing her Loie Fuller-inspired Dance of the Elements.
