WHAT IS IT ABOUT?

The Love and Terror Theater in association with Charlie Fink present Irish Authors Held Hostage, by John Morogiello. The play is making its New York premiere at the New York International Fringe Festival, after enjoying a production at Bedlam Theatre in Edinburgh, Scotland and winning Outstanding Production at last summer's Washington Theatre Festival.

Irish Authors Held Hostage presents a series of variations of the
theme wherein famous Irish authors such as Synge, Wilde, Shaw, Joyce, O'Casey, Beckett and Behan are held captive by a variety of international terrorists. Musical interludes between kidnapings enhance this original and
intelligent comedy. Martin Blanco directs.
