A mixture of Agatha Christie, "Are You Being Served," Mel Brooks and Monty Python, Inspector Pansy and the Curious Case of the Prickly Privates follows the semi-legendary but bumbling English Police Inspector Pansy Clohessy and his loyal but clueless female sidekick, Sergeant Dawkins, as they are called to Foonsberry House to investigate the murder of sexy ne'er-do-well playboy Roger Foonsbery. The suspects, all very guilty-looking of course, include: Roger's arrogant businessman cousin, Lord Foonsberry; their aunt, the imperious dowager Duchess of Croom; the visiting, vaguely-European film star Carlotta Slobodka; the woebegone, sexually-repressed cook, Mrs. Quisp; and the eccentric manservant, Smudgeon.
