The musical Inside Out takes place in several spirited group therapy sessions where six witty and determined women discuss the perplexities of marriage and divorce, homosexuality, children, and success and failure. Other topics related to the trials and tribulations of being a woman are explored, as well as coping with each other's dynamic feminine qualities. Each woman grapples with their own turmoil to find truth and meaning within themselves. They reveal their inner psyche and project it outward through dialogue and song.
