The Kitchen brings to New York the premiere of Incursión. Tema: Fausto--the highly acclaimed Argentinean music-theater work by composer Martin Bauer and the Buenos Aires-based company, Equipo de Trabajo. The show is based on Fausto Criollo, a satirical poem by renowned poet Estanislao del Campo. It recounts the impression of a gaucho who attended the premiere of Gounod's Faust at the Buenos Aires Opera in 1866, and believed that every event unfolding on the stage was real.
