Thisbe Productions presents In Transit, by Matt Hoverman and directed by Padraic Lillis, as part of the 10th annual New York International Fringe Festival. In the show, 12 New Yorkers -- and 1 Red State Mom -- collide in 7 tales set in 7 separate modes of NYC's post-9/11 mass transportation system (including the M-9 bus, the Hampton Jitney, the 4 train, rental boats in Central Park, an airport taxi and the secret train underneath the Waldorf-Astoria.) Although each episode is its own short play, the many disparate characters find themselves thrust together in the climactic scene on board the Delta Shuttle to Boston -- where they discover a most unusual hijacker in their midst. In Transit is a full-length comedy about the scariest place on earth -- your commute!
