Take an Italian mother and an Americanized daughter, mix in some guilt and a touch of resentment, and the result is In Spite of Myself, a one-woman show that examines the hysterical, yet moving, struggle between a mother and daughter. The piece is written and performed by Antoinette LaVecchia.
