WHAT IS IT ABOUT?

Gary Ferrar's In My Free Time I Self Destruct is the third installment in the occasional But Wait... There's More series. In three diverse pieces, metatheater and multimedia pull the audience through the 4th wall, deep into the humanity, humor, and surreality of the hyper-aware mind. "Microscopic Life" discovers God somewhere in a nonverbal connection between single celled organisms and The Space Shuttle Challenger Disaster. "If This Were a Play, I'd Love You" follows two characters as they attempt to experience real emotion, despite the best efforts of the actors playing them. "The Stage Bone's Connected to the..." brings Oedipus, Hamlet, and Godot's Vladimir into a plotless safe-space where they challenge our perception of history, dramaturgy, and the concept of theater itself.
