WHAT IS IT ABOUT?

I'm Delivered From My Inner Me (Enemy)/Treat Me Not To Leave You is a new dramatic/comedy stage play that revolves around prayer, life insurance, deceit, alcoholism, and incest.

Delivered focuses on Dr. Kendra Simms, a psychiatrist. Dr. Simms is in preparation to relocate from her office work space to now work out of her home. As she moves, Dr. Simms takes us on a journey with two of her most challenging patients, only to learn more about herself.

Treat Me focuses on the burden of life after death. Nala Ferguson is a widow. Nala must somehow pick up the pieces, keep her life in order, raise her kids, and answer questions about life insurance.

These plays are written and produced by Jermaine "Jay everyday" Smith, playwright of the 5-time 2008 Tiffany Gospel Award nominated stage play, A Piece of Me. Directed by Be Rivers (star of Platanos & Collard Greens).

A Great Night At the Theater
I was at the show on February 7, 2009. I brought my mom to the play with me, and we enjoyed every second of the well written performance. The actors were on point and the singer in the "Treat Me" short was fabulous. Please Jermaine keep the plays coming. My mom and I both feel they are necessary:-
