A collaboration among a choreographer/director, a visual artist, a composer, a hair designer, and 7 performers, If The Shoe Fits is an off-kilter evening-length odyssey into our internalization of the imaginary world of fairy tales.
Using elements of theater, dance, visual art, video, clown techniques, baking, and vacuuming, the ensemble explores the expectations we harbor as would-be protagonists in our personal blends of traditional fairy tales and myths, how we fail to live up to them, and yet find ways to persevere.
