WHAT IS IT ABOUT?

Working Man's Clothes Productions presents the world premiere of Bekah Brunstetter's I Used to Write on Walls. Diana Basmajian and Isaac Byrne direct.

Diane, Georgia and Joanne are three modern women living very different lives.
Diane, a catastrophically lonely cop in her mid-30's, struggles to find love in the city. Georgia, an early 20's beat/street poet, frequents open-mike nights to vent the heartache of a missing boyfriend. Joanne, 30, is a make-up artist for Sears Roebuck who suffers from a severe case of Kolpophobia (she's terrified her vagina is too ugly to bear). Unknowingly, their romantic infatuations center on one individual...Trevor, age 24, a sexy, stoned surfer/skater who is on a "rad, rad philosophical journey."

When a beautiful 11 year old girl named Anna, and Mona (a sexy, widowed
astronaut) are thrown into the crosswinds of Trevor's diverse romantic affairs, hearts will be broken, loves will be lost, and youthful cries of hope, anger, and sadness will be written on walls. Mothers will try to guide their daughters from the promise and beauty of youth through the diminishing opportunities of aging. Daughters will go to the extremes of passion to hold on to their fantasies of love. One man will be in the middle of a romantic storm of graffiti, drugs, sexual asphyxiation, gunshots, explosions, and desire. And everyone will try to prove that they are that chosen, special someone - destined for true love and greatness.
