WHAT IS IT ABOUT?

Mary C. Healey and Daniel O'Shea, in association with Cart Before Horse Productions, present a double bill of classic American plays from Eugene O'Neill and the woman who helped launch his career, Pulitzer Prize-winning playwright Susan Glaspell. In Hughie, small time hustler Erie Smith confronts the run of bad luck he hasn't been able to shake since the death of Hughie, night clerk at the hotel he frequents in New York City. Trifles takes us to rural America where two women, their husbands, and the county attorney investigate the death--and perhaps murder--of a farmer.
