Axis Company presents the latest installment of its annual summer series, Hospital. A man, drunk and lost on icy roads far outside the city falls in a stream and wanders away to die in a snow drift. Forgotten for hours he is eventually picked up and taken to a hospital where he lapses into an irreversible coma. At the hospital, his interior life is the subject matter for this new four part series. There are four separate episodes (each running for two weeks), but each evening can be viewed separately as a self-contained short play. Randy Sharp directs the series, which blends advanced technology with live performance. Each episode runs 30 minutes.
