WHAT IS IT ABOUT?

Homotext is a pesentation of new lesbian and gay writings featuring Heather Daniels and Thomas Glave. Heather Daniels is a trashy fancy queer femme born 'n raised in southern West Virginia. She's an Appalachian girl at heart, but now lives in NYC. She's been raisin' a ruckus with her work all over the country from off-Broadway stages and theatre festivals to open mics and bars in tiny towns, from sex toy stores and colleges to conferences, crowded living rooms, and NYC public schools. Thomas Glave is a graduate of Bowdoin College and Brown University, and has traveled asa Fulbright Scholar to Jamaica, where he studied Jamaican historiography and Caribbean intellectual and literary traditions. He is the recipient of numerous fellowships and awards, including an O. Henry Prize for fiction and fellowships from the National Endowment for the Arts and the Fine Arts Center in Provincetown.
