This is a new play by Cilque Brown set in the South during the late 1940's. It's the story of budding entrepreneurs and best friends Rita Jones and Thelma Lou, who partner to open a beauty shop. It's a great location, but it's right next door to the barber shop owned by Burt Carlson, who thinks that women should stay at home, rather than run a business!
