WHAT IS IT ABOUT?
Sarah Overman's Her Majesty the King is a bold retelling of the bloody Wars of the Roses. Brought to England from France in 1445 as the child bride of England's feeble Henry VI, Margaret of Anjou finds herself alone in a covetous court bent on usurping her throne. How will she survive an attack on her homeland, her family and her good name? She'll fight back, of course -- and earn her reputation as England's "Brutal Queen". Patrick McNulty directs.
