WHAT IS IT ABOUT?
Hecuba is the classic Greek tragedy by Euripides in which Hecuba, the Queen of Troy, is a refugee after the Greeks have destroyed her country. Her surviving children are threatened with murder, betrayal and being sacrificed to the gods. Can she overcome infinite suffering? The Greeks learn that everyone loses a war. Presented in modern setting and dress. The tragedies of war are ancient, current and eternal.
