WARNING: Haunted House is an intense interactive experience that lasts approximately 20 minutes/person. You don't just walk through it - you live it. And yes, you will be touched. ** All patrons will be required to read our rules and sign a waiver before entering.

This is not your typical haunted house. The Vortex Theater?s award-nominated Haunted House is an intense experiential horror attraction that takes fear to a new level. Catering specifically to adults (18+), Haunted House audience members are forced to walk through the pitch-black maze alone, confronting such basic fears as complete darkness, tight spaces, crawling, and sexual and violent situations. Outfitted with only a protective face mask and a small flashlight, this "true horror experience" (FANGORIA) lasts approximately 20 minutes per person. NYC Thrillist called it "choad-curdlingly terrifying... with pants-wetting gore" and Time Out NY recommends you "better bring a change of pants".

Tickets range between $15.00 - $30.00 depending on day, hour, and capacity. Tickets are sold by the hour and we can only guarantee that you will enter sometime within the hour of your purchased ticket. For example, if you purchase a ticket for 7:00pm, you will enter the house some time between 7:00 and 8:00. If you show up more than an hour late to your designated time, you forfeit your ticket. Unfortunately, this year's Haunted House is not handicapped accessible. Finally, we do not recommend showing up in groups larger than 6.
