Half, written by resident playwright Greg Lemoine, depicts the tragic story of a merchant marine sailor as he struggles to face the demons of his past and fights for the courage to love again. Half (aka Ewell) arrives home after more than 20 years at sea to visit his father's grave and to claim his inheritance from two greedy uncles who have no intention of giving it to him. Coming home proves more difficult than Half imagined and he ends up in the hospital after trying to kill himself. Cai, the nurse on duty, is drawn to Half and takes a special interest in him. Both Cai and Half are victims of parental abuse and as they struggle to overcome the issues from their pasts, they discover that they have much more in common than they think.
