WHAT IS IT ABOUT?
Career Transition for Dancers presents the 9th Annual Gala Gotta Dance! A Dance Tribute to Hollywood, dedicated to the late Caroline H. Newman, CTFD board member and a major benefactor of the annual Galas. Directed by Randy Skinner, the evening honors and pays tribute to many of the films and stars that provided glorious moments of dance on the silver screen from such films as Singin' in the Rain, The Red Shoes, Seven Brides for Seven Brothers, West Side Story, Sweet Charity, Saturday Night Fever, and The Turning Point, and dancers such as Bill "Bojangles" Robinson, Fred Astaire and Ginger Rogers, and Gene Kelly.
Gala tickets include the performance and a post-performance black-tie supper with the stars, auction and dancing at Cipriani 42nd Street. Sponsorships are also available. For gala tickets please call Michael Weiss or Gary Tigner - Weiss Creative Group at (212) 582-6690.
