Like this version better than the usual

Loved this take on a classic-putting a positive value on honesty, hard work, and thrift instead of treating them as character flaws. A must see. Actors playing Scrooge and Marley are excellent, costumes are good, and the rest of the cast is very talented. Loved the comic touches and interesting twists. Much better than the usual tired ho hum Scrooge plays this time of year.

A great way to spend an evening this holiday season. We loved it.

I had a friend visiting from Texas and I wanted to take him to some local theatre instead of a big Broadway production. We were both impressed at how in such an intimate theatre setting a whole other world opens up right in front of your eyes. The cast was super diverse. Caitlyn Williams who played Tiny Tim and Fann was a delight to listen to. The costumes were great and Jan-Peter Pedross played a better Scrooge than I have seen at much bigger productions. After a day of holiday shopping, I would definitely go see this and it is in a very cool space, a very New York edgy type of place, excellent to take out-of-town guests.

Great show at a great price.

Loved the show. A must see for $10!

You'll enjoy this new take on a classic

Comedy and moving drama combine in this new take on the classic story. Here, Scrooge is definitely the protagonist - flawed in the familiar way - bitter and hard-hearted after a lonely childhood and the loss of the woman he loved - but also an honest person who runs a successful small business in the way he thinks right. Like the original, this Scrooge finds the way to a richer life with the help of the haunting spirits - in the usual and in surprising ways. Come see this well-acted, lovely, thought-provoking and fun show!

RE:A provocative new take on a classic!

Scrooge as a flawed protagonist who is, yes, bitter and hard-hearted after a lonely, painful childhood and the loss of the love of his life - but also is an honest person who runs a successful small business and tries to do what in his limited vision seems right - grows to a richer life with the haunting of the spirits. Come see this well-acted, lovely, thought-provoking show!
