David Alejandro Rodriguez's Giving Up the Gun is a fast paced hip hop moving play. It deals with the world of rap, the death of a superstar, the women who loved him, unanswered questions, and the hereafter. Tupac revisited. Presented as part of the Through Her Eyes: Women of Color Arts Festival 2002.
