Gauguin / Savage Light is a new musical by George Fischoff about the life of the artist Paul Gauguin. Driven by his own "savage light," Gauguin's passion took him from Paris to Tahiti in his pursuit for "The right to dare anything! The right of the artist to be free!" Fischoff is a former concert pianist and composer of the 60's classic hits "98.6" (Keith) and "Lazy Day" (Spanky and Our Gang) as well as the Tony nominated Georgy for Broadway and Off Broadway with The Prince and the Pauper.
