Garage is the story of David Lawson, who has returned to small-town Arkansas with his wife Susan for the funeral of his father, Emmett, from whom he had consciously distanced himself over the years. As David is confronted with his pent-up past, he and Susan must also contend with Brandon, Emmett's foul-mouthed protege and David's childhood rival, who might very well offer a key to David's haunted sense of self-worth and reveal the often amusing but ultimately tragic human experience of Garage.
