The ladies room at Frank's bar/restaurant is the meeting place for confrontation, consolation, and hashing out differences. Babe is pregnant. Her best friend Madeleine is a staunch feminist. Frank's is where Babe waits tables along with Anne (the actress/waitress), Nancy (the would be waitress), and Sybil (the bartender's girlfriend).
