Breaking stereotypes, creating true identity, surviving war, surviving internment, cherishing family, and holding onto their dreams for the future - From the Heart: A Celebration of Asian and Asian American Women mixes memories and dreams with the present. Embracing one's own heritage is like coming home. And ultimately, the women illuminate the universal similarities of us all.
Presented as part of the National Asian American Theater Festival, From the Heart shares a double-bill with On the Island.
