A state of emergency has been declared as a freak storm lashes Sydney's suburbs. Henry Crumb, an ambitious insurance salesman is forced to take shelter when his Mercedes is crushed by a falling Oak tree. He is humbly welcomed into a modest living room, as his host Ernest double locks the door behind him. The mild-mannered homeowner is not interested in Crumb's insincere sales pitch, but together with his live-in companion Myra, they indulge in displaying their own twisted intellects. From here the plot twists and turns where Crumb finds himself in a strange world beyond his wildest imagination. Does a frightening truth lurk deep within this house, or has Crumb's predatory nature turned inward, creating a paranoid nightmare?
